Jurys Cork Hotel renamed The River Lee

Jurys Cork Hotel will officially be renamed The
River Lee Hotel today, 24th of March, as
part of the new brand identity of The Doyle Collection. Rebuilt in
2006, the hotel was designed to take full advantage of its location
on the River Lee and its proximity to the city centre so it was
obvious that the hotel’s relationship with the river and the city
would play an integral role in the choosing of the new name.
Commenting on the launch of the new identity, Ruairi O Connor,
General Manager of The River Lee Hotel said, “Operating for
over 40 years, Jurys Cork Hotel is a well established institution
in Cork. We are extremely committed to delivering memorable
luxury and, as part of the ongoing redevelopment of the hotel; we
are delighted to reveal our new name – The River Lee Hotel.
Today marks another milestone in the history of this great hotel
and we look forward to operating a successful hotel which continues
to play an intrinsic part of Cork life for another 40
years”.
