springs and the town of Bath was built in 863 BC by Prince Bladud
who claims to have been cured of leprosy by the hot springs. The
area has become a very popular place for visitors to relax and
enjoy the Roman hot
springs spa as well as the scenic countryside. Bath is

then Cheltenham is the place to go during your trip to Bristol. The
racecourse features a modern race track with restaurants and
lounges to enjoy. There is an information centre as well as an

events since 1815, the Cheltenham Racecourse is long standing

Browse Blaise Castle House
Museum
Set in the English countryside near
Bristol, the Blaise Castle House Museum is an 18th Century mansion
that was built on the Blaise Estate. The estate covers more than
400 acres of park with a museum that is open to the public for
tours. Built around 1796, the Blaise House was constructed for
Bristol banker John Harford. The house includes a Victorian school
room, a picture room, toy room, costume gallery and much more. John
Harford was known for his collection of strange and obscure objects
which are still on display in the museum.
Climb Cabot
Tower
An attraction a little closer to home.
Sitting at the West End of Bristol on Brandon Hill, the Cabot Tower
was built to honour the memory of John Cabot, a British Explorer
who is credited with discovering Canada. Built in 1898, the tower
stands over 32 meters high and was constructed from cream-colored
Bath stone and red sandstone. The tower is open for tours and
provides an amazing view of the city of Bristol and the surrounding
area.
