Environmental Awareness
In keeping with
environmental awareness, Cúl Green is a Croke Park initiative aimed
at keeping the stadium carbon neutral. The venue has an
environmental improvement programme in place covering electricity,
water and waste management systems. In 2010 the venue became the
world’s first stadium to be awarded BS 8901 certification in
sustainable event management and continues to work to minimise its
environmental impact.
Historic
Delegates and visitors also have the
option to allocate time for a stadium tour to capture the essence
of what makes Croke Park a truly unique venue. The tour
incorporates the GAA Museum located within the stadium complex.
