Learn the art of cocktail making at Bar Dupont

The Shaken Nights series is here.

Learn how to make amazing cocktails with a class at Bar Dupont, perfect for social gatherings and friendly functions.

There’s nothing like an Instagram-ready cocktail, expertly shaken and embellished with pretty accouterments. A winning cocktail is perfectly balanced in flavour and appearance, with just the right level of kick, and is the best way to celebrate a moment (even if that ‘moment’ is just the end of the working day).

But have you ever tried to copy a blend at home, only to end up disappointed? You may have all the ingredients to hand, but something just isn’t right. Well, the Shaken Nights cocktail class series at Bar Dupont is the place for you.

You can always be sure of a great cocktail at Bar Dupont (check out their new summer menu here). So if you’d like to learn a few tips from the experts themselves, then you’ll love the classes on offer.

The summer series of cocktail classes at Bar Dupont is the best way to learn how to make cocktails in the city.

These monthly classes are led by Chris McNeal, General Manager, and his team, who will share their expert knowledge on mixology and how to throw a successful cocktail party.

The classes run on the first Thursday of every month, with a different theme each time. June’s session will focus on The Triple Crown, and July will be a patriotic celebration of Independence Day with champagne-inspired cocktails. The Endless Summer August class
will focus on drinks built with shrubs, tinctures and preserved summer fruits. September is all about gala season, October will focus on spooky, Halloween suited drinks, and November is led by the festivities of Thanksgiving.

You’ll get to taste the cocktails made as well as tuck into some light bites from the kitchen. And, as the classes run from 6pm – 8pm, you can always stick around in the bar when you’re finished and watch the masters at work.

The workshops cost $48.47, which includes gratuity, tax and Eventbrite fees. You can book your place at
