Fall Cocktails at The Dupont Circle
Snuggle up for fall
It seems like summer only started a few days ago, but the change in the seasons is already in the air. And no city looks finer in the fall than Washington DC. After the blossom on the trees in the spring, the leaves turn their autumnal gold, orange and red.
There’s no better way to welcome a new season than with a brand new cocktail! To celebrate the start of the fall, Bar Dupont is launching a new bar menu, with some delectably seasonal libations.
Jug Band
Served in a chic martini glass, the Jug Band is a blend of Bourbon, Coffee Infused Vermouth, and Pecan Syrup with an Espresso Whip.
Jack Rose (Classic)
With the gradient shade of Grenadine, the Jack Rose is perfect for those with a sweet tooth. Made with Applejack, Grenadine and Lemon Juice.
The Duke
A long, cool drink made with Leopold’s Apple Whiskey, Apple Jack, Lemon Bitters and Orange.
Count Rugen
If you’re a fan of pecan pie, then this is for you – a combination of Blackstrap Rum, Fino Sherry, Pecan Syrup and Lime.
Black Cat Cloak
A drink with the look of a chic Old Fashioned, made using Rye Whiskey, Sweet Vermouth and Lucano Amaro.
Evil Eye
The embodiment of fall, with Crème de Cacao, Blended Scotch, Alpine Liquor and Egg White.
Louis IV
A sophisticated mix of Blended Scotch, Canton Ginger and Lillet Rouge.
Don’t forget, if you're blessed with some fall sunshine then the patio of Bar Dupont is the perfect spot to imbibe and watch the world go by. But when the weather cools, there's nothing like the cosy interior of the bar for a drink.
The new Fall Menu will be launching in Bar Dupont on September 19th. All cocktails will be $12. You can see more on the website.
