The Royal Society of Literature
The Royal Society of Literature was founded in 1820 by King George IV to "reward literary merit and excite literary talent". Today, alongside a world-class events programme, The Royal Society of Literature support authors both established and emerging with awards and grants, as well as managing a Schools Outreach programme to inspire the next generation of readers and writers.

The Dominion Theatre
Located next door to The Bloomsbury, guests can experience the magic of London’s West End with a show at The Dominion Theatre. Once the home of the long running musical We Will Rock You, in the last few years the theatre has hosted a number of iconic shows including The Bodyguard, Evita and An American In Paris.
2020 sees the opening of the new stage musical The Prince of Egypt.
The Royal Opera House
Located just 10 minutes’ walk from The Bloomsbury, the Royal Opera House is home to The Royal Opera and The Royal Ballet. Based in the iconic Covent Garden theatre, it is renowned for its outstanding performances of traditional opera and for commissioning new works by today’s leading composers and choreographers.
Upcoming performances include The Winter’s Tale, Manon and Coraline.
