We are delighted to announce the return of our complimentary Abbey Theatre Walking Tour for guests over the summer season. Strolling around the Georgian Quarter is a vibrant introduction to the theatrical and cultural history of Dublin. From stunning sculpture to beautiful buildings, discover some of the personalities, dramas and places that have influenced its character and culture. With a mixture of iconic sights, forgotten stories and hidden gems, it is a rich and immersive introduction to the city for both tourists and locals alike.

The 75 minute walking tour will depart from The Westbury every Friday morning throughout the summer at 11am. Beginning at The Westbury, our Abbey Theatre Tour Guides will escort guests on their route, taking in key theatrical sites including The Gaiety Theatre and The Abbey Theatre. Guests will discover St. Stephen's Green and its spaces dedicated to various Irish and international artists, as well as enjoying a tailored tour of theatrical artwork within the National Gallery. The iconic sculptures of Phil Lynott and Luke Kelly will also be visited, linking musical and theatrical traditions while a pitstop at the Oscar Wilde sculpture introduces guests to the wit, personality and plays of the celebrated playwright.
