Shopping package. Gourmands will savor what’s featured on our
Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve menu. Families will enjoy the First
Night festivities. And holiday party hosts will enjoy what we offer

December 11 – 19 "Hanukkah"
Hanukkah is celebrated for eight days. A
Menorah or a candelabrum is lit one at a time for eight nights. On
the last day of Hanukkah all the candles are
therefore lit. Menorah lighting taking place each night in
Boston Common, December 11-18 - located within
walking distance (approximately 3 blocks) of The Back Bay
Hotel.
December 24 & 25 - Christmas Eve and Day
Shops and businesses will be open for limited hours on Christmas
Eve. Limited holiday dinner menu being served between 5.30pm and
10pm in our Stanhope Grille restaurant. The Stanhope
Grille will be closed for dinner on December 25.
Cuffs ~ an Irish Bar will be serving meals and
beverages from 11.30am until 1am.
December 31 - New Year’s Eve / First Night
Created in Boston over 30 years ago and now a celebrated
festival worldwide, First Night is a
day long celebration of art and community. First Night Buttons are
available at our concierge desk. Join us at Stanhope Grille for our
renowned 5 course New Year's Eve Dinner.
The Stanhope
Grille opens at 5.30pm and
