(March 14-19 & 21-26, 2010). With scores of
restaurants participating, it’s hard to stay away from this
affordable way to experience some of Boston’s best dining
establishments. Be sure to try The Back Bay Hotel’s own Stanhope

· 2010 Boston Flower and Garden Show
Weekend
Gear up for Spring by planting yourself in Boston for the 2010
Boston Flower and Garden Show Weekend (March 24-28,
2010). This year is special because a new addition to the
event will be Blooms! – a floral design competition sponsored by
the Massachusetts Horticultural Society and the Garden Club
Federation of Massachusetts. Whether you need directions, tickets
or show times, please call our Pre-Stay Concierge and they will be
happy to assist!
· St. Patrick’s Day Parade - Sunday
14th March
The parade takes place each year in South Boston which was once
a predominantly Irish Catholic community and in recent years, has
become increasingly desirable among young professionals and
families who are attracted to the neighborhood's strong sense of
community and quick access to downtown Boston and public
transportation.
City residents flock to the neighborhood to enjoy the annual South
Boston St. Patrick's Day Parade. Today the breathtaking South
Boston Waterfront is emerging as Boston's newest
neighborhood.
Already home to the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center,
planned development for the Waterfront includes residential,
office, retail, and hotel use. The Institute for Contemporary Art,
due to open in September, stands as an iconic symbol of the South
Boston Waterfront's unlimited potential.
· Boston Marathon
The legendary Boston Marathon course follows a point-to-point
route from rural Hopkinton to Boston and is certified per the
guidelines set forth by the IAAF and USA Track and Field. The 114th
Boston Marathon will be run on Monday, April 19,
2010
