 Located just on our doorstep on Western Road, this quaint thrift shop has all things alternative and vintage. For fur coats & pea jackets to collectables of all shapes and sizes, this friendly little store has something for everyone. Fine them on Facebook  here

If you are strolling through the famous English Market while visiting cork (how could you not) make sure you swing by this  gem on Market Parade off Patrick Street. Filled with trinkets and treats of all sorts, this is a must go for getting that something special to bring home.

3. The Time Traveller Book Shop

Our neighbours on Wandesford Quay are one of the hidden  treasures of the city. This unique store houses some of the best out of print, signed and first edition books available in Ireland. A must for any book fans! A wrapping and shipping service is also available to add to the surprise.

2.  Mustard

The newest addition to the alternative shopping scene in Cork. located on the trendy Academy Street location off Patrick street, this warm and friendly store has oodles of charm and some great finds for anyone looking to bring a bit of crafty goodness back. Tweets welcome!

1. Mother Jones Flea Market

Finally, the  Mecca for all things alternative in Cork. Located on the corner of McCurtain Street and York Street, and named after the famous Irish-American community leader  Mary Harris “Mother” Jones, this is the thrift shop to end all thrift shops. Multiple stall holders come together to offer a world of pre-loved and vintage goods. A palm reader, head massage booth, a quirky cafe and live gigs add to make this the supreme hipster shopping outlet in Cork!
