This May, explore the universe like never before with At-Bristol Science Centre and The Bristol. ‘Planetarium Nights’ is a series of out-of-this-world shows where you can explore our entire universe from the comfort of your own seat. Set in Bristol’s creative harbour side quarter, The Bristol is only a 5-minute walk from the Science Centre, making it the perfect base for your outer-space experience.

Whether you’re a space novice, an intermediate stargazer or an intergalactic enthusiast, At-Bristol’s latest technology can get you closer to our universe than ever before. The show kicks off with Spring Stargazing in 3D, where an enthusiastic and knowledgeable presenter will guide you around the Spring night sky in the most advanced planetarium in the UK.

Fly to the exotic moons that live in our Solar System and discover how you can find famous star constellations, from Ursa Major the Great Bear to Leo the Lion. This show will be a spectacle for both teenagers and adults alike.

The next part of this intergalactic journey is a double-bill of spectacular sights and fascinating science. Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2015 is a breath-taking full dome exhibition, showcasing awe-inspiring photographs of the Cosmos, produced by the Royal Observatory Greenwich. This interstellar journey shows Earth in a whole new light. With Blue Marvel 3D, a presenter-led show, you can discover just how space exploration has inspired environmental movement, leading to a deeper appreciation of our own planet.

Planetarium Nights take place on the 5th, 12th and 19th May 2016. Tickets cost £8 for Adults and £7 for concessions. Recommended for ages 16+.
