Inspire your children to create their own theatrical adventure at DragonBird Theatre. Offering sessions daily, the early years theatre company will perform a short story to the crowds, followed by an interactive adventure where everyone gets to play their part in the show. Throw on your wellies and waterproofs and head out to Welly Boot Land at WWT Slimbridge Wetland Centre. The annual South West Puddle Jumping Championships will offer prizes for the most enthusiastic jumpers, with plenty of practice puddles for visitors to work on their best leap.

Head over to Bristol Zoo for Conservation Heroes, a wildlife trail designed for budding environmentalist and explorers. Visitors will receive collectable stickers for every wild animal they encounter, as well as meeting the conservation heroes that looks after them, who will be presenting throughout the day about what goes on behind the scenes.

For a post-half term treat, adults should leave the little ones at home and enjoy “The Bristol Gin Experience”. Check in to a beautiful classic room at The Bristol and receive a mini bottle of Bristol Gin in room on arrival. Take it down to the River Lounge and our bar staff can create a range of exciting infusions and combinations to create your own unique gin.
