Afternoon Tea in Kensington, London
Let Us Eat Cake - Afternoon Tea - running until 27th March
Inspired by the fashion, gardens and opulent court life of Marie Antoinette, Let Us Eat Cake is our elegant afternoon tea. Beautifully presented and exquisitely detailed, each creation is as decorative as it is delicious, served from a chic fan-shaped menu that echoes the playful extravagance of Versailles.
To elevate the experience, sip on The Queen’s Coupe (£23): a luxurious cocktail of Belvedere Vodka, Pimms, Earl Grey cordial, clarified clotted cream and Charles Heidsieck Brut Réserve NV, finished with a rose petal and raspberry rim.
Introducing Fashion Becomes Tea - from 28th March
In celebration of the V&A South Kensington's Schiaparelli: Fashion Becomes Art Exhibition
From 28th March, in celebration of the V&A South Kensington’s groundbreaking Schiaparelli: Fashion Becomes Art exhibition, The Kensington presents Fashion Becomes Tea – an afternoon tea inspired by surrealist couture and bold imagination. Sculptural pastries, expressive colours and playful flavour pairings create a sensorial runway of taste, echoing the artistry and avant‑garde elegance at the heart of the show.
