The Breakfast Club's pancakes are not for the faint-hearted, but they are mouth-wateringly good and guarantee to fill you up.

The American-style diner prides itself on a brunch menu made up largely of pancake options. You can choose from dishes like the All American (pancakes, eggs, sausage, potatoes, bacon and maple syrup), Pancakes & Berries (fresh berries, berry compote, maple syrup and vanilla ice cream) and Banana & Salted Caramel Pancakes with vanilla cream and chocolate sauce. There are also amazing vegan pancakes. With locations all over London, there’s definitely no excuse to give breakfast a miss.

Make sure you arrive early to avoid waiting too long for a table, as the restaurant doesn’t hold reservations!

Gloria: Shoreditch’s new hot spot and sister restaurant to Big Mama’s Circolo Popolare is a cross between a chintzy burrata-filled emporium and a traditional Italian grandma’s parlour. The vibe will immediately set you up for a good time, and the food will always leave you full and still wanting more! Dine on the delicious airy ricotta pancakes for breakfast or brunch. These come with caramelised banana as standard, plus your choice of toppings – perhaps maple syrup or homemade chocolate sauce.
