A change in the weather calls for a complete re-evaluation of how to spend a crisp, cold weekend in London. No longer picnic season, you’ll be wondering where to go and what to see. Luckily, we’ve created a list of seasonal activities to enjoy the cooler temperatures, whilst revelling in the beautiful autumnal colours. Kew Gardens

Make your way to the west of the city to Kew Gardens, a world-leading botanic garden. With around 14,000 trees, you’re bound to be surrounded by gorgeous hues of oranges and yellows. Take the 118 steps up to a treetop walkway to see the trees from above and take a few autumnal pictures as you nestle yourself amongst the leaves. Take tea in one of the garden’s numerous cafés and restaurants to warm up after wandering outside all morning.

Borough Market

Seasonal produce is currently rife at Borough Market. To the east of the city, you’ll find London’s oldest food market, which has been running for 1,000 years. Here you’ll find stalls upon stalls of squash, pumpkins and ripe red apples, a riot of colours and smells to tantalise your taste buds. Work your way through the market, picking up your favourite food items as you go.

Dalloway Terrace

An autumn-lovers paradise is found at Dalloway Terrace, whose current interior installation is populated with fall-inspired leaves covering the walls and ceiling. Have breakfast, lunch or dinner in this festive food spot, located at The Bloomsbury.

The Jubilee Greenway

This cycle and walking route takes you from Buckingham Palace to Westminster with 60 kilometres in between. Head through Hyde Park and marvel at the Serpentine lake before following the Regents Canal through Camden, where beautiful narrowboats line the water and trees surround the walkway.

Coppa Club

Escape the cold outdoors by heading into your very own cosy igloo. With warm fluffy blankets and a cup of hot gin or a rich hot chocolate, this is the perfect spot to wind down after an autumnal day spent outside.
