Design Ireland Pop Ups at The Westbury Mall

Pick up a masterpiece

Design Ireland have teamed up with The Doyle Collection for a series of design pop ups in the heart of Dublin.

The Doyle Collection has had a long-standing relationship with Irish design. Remember the incredible Irish Design Afternoon Tea that was created last year? 

And now the latest collaboration has been unveiled. In association with The Design & Crafts Council of Ireland (DCCoI) and The Doyle Collection is presenting a series of week-long pop-ups at The Westbury Mall. The pop-ups will form part of the November 15th launch of www.DesignIreland.ie and will feature some of the most exciting designers in the field including; Jill de Burca, Melissa Curry Design and the Kinsale Leather Company.

Design Ireland is a premium brand created by DCCoI that showcases the breadth and quality of Irish design and craft to both a global and an Irish audience. Design Ireland uncovers and curates the best work created in Ireland, particularly suited for people who love to buy high quality, authentically created products.

Eleven Irish designers will display their work over the seven weeks, as well as demonstrating their crafts and sharing their inspiration.

The list of participants is as follows…

Week 1: Monday, 7th – Sunday, 13th November

Textile and fashion designer Jennifer Rothwell showcases her JRothwellfashion and scarf collections 

Week 2: Wednesday, 16th – Sunday 20th November

Chaim Factor is welcomed to the pop-up with its wooden homeware gift collection of knives and chopping boards

Art and unique design pieces will be available for a limited series of Design Ireland Pop Ups at The Westbury Mall

Textile designer Jennifer Slattery showcases her collection of home and table linen 

Week 4: Monday, 28th November – Sunday, 4th December

Brendan Joseph takes over the space with his range of woven scarves, pocket squares and bow ties

Week 5: Monday, 5th – Sunday, 11th December

Zelouf+Bell showcase their artistic, museum-quality furniture collection 

Week 6: Monday, 12th – Sunday, 18th December

Fashion designers, TISSUE and Edel Traynor share the space to display their contemporary womenswear collections

Week 7: Monday, 19th – Saturday, 24th December

Ceramic artists, Magda Bethani  and Chloe Dowds team up to showcase their unique work in the pop-up shop

Design Ireland reflects the rich blend of Irish design’s influences and outlooks; modernist and traditional homeware and furniture, delicate and brash jewellery and fashion, and all manner of unexpected and charming gifts. Accomplished makers across Ireland are creating craft of the highest quality. Design Ireland is a place to celebrate and share their perspectives by championing their authentic, quality products.
