Menus & Details

Oak panelling, stone pillars, handsome tables with leather chairs and banquettes, give the Landseer Restaurant and Bar a member’s clubby air that feels both retro and very modern. The honest ingredients and lightness of touch evident in every dish created by Head Chef, Paul O’Brien lends a contemporary twist to the space – and has created a reputation for the

Landseer as a destination in its own right. The bar is a wood-panelled gem, with a fine cocktail list and some rare and expertly chosen wines, beers and spirits.

Bloomsbury Afternoon Tea May 2015

afternoon tea

Right in the heart of Bloomsbury, The Bloomsbury Hotel London is located in a magnificent neo-Georgian Grade II listed building, which was once the Queen's preferred place to drink tea and use the swimming pool.

Its prestigious façade compliments a beautifully renovated interior within minutes of exploring the myriad of treasures of Bloomsbury, whether it's the British Museum which is literally around the corner, the shopping haven of Oxford Street, the bustle of Covent Garden or the magnificent Georgian terraces and tree-lined squares which makes The Bloomsbury Hotel the perfect Covent Garden London hotel. In the glamorous surroundings The Lutyens Lobby Lounge offers a chic yet relaxed setting, perfect for enjoying a truly British affair. The hotel was originally built for the Young Women's Christian Association with the foundation stone laid in 1929 and officially opened by Queen Mary. A Royal home for tea to the then Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret, in the same era The Duchess of Kent opened the YWCA Club Swimming Pool, yet to be restored.

Afternoon Tea is served from 12 noon until 6pm, daily.
