Jubilee Greenway

jubilee walk

Completed in 2012 in time for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the London Olympic Games, the Jubilee Greenway route spans 60km – one km for each year of the Queen’s reign. It is one of London’s most extensive walking and cycling routes, and visits some of the city’s most well-known landmarks in north London. If 60km seems a little excessive for a charming winter walk, then don’t despair – simply choose a section of the route and wander through the capital. One of the most picturesque walks is the journey from Little Venice to Camden Lock, along the side of the Grand Union Canal. The route is just under 2.5 miles long and provides idyllic views of the canal, before arriving at Camden’s famous street food market for a well-deserved treat.
