Live at the Marquee Lineup 2018
Who's playing this year?
There are some brilliant gigs taking place in Cork this summer, as part of Live at the Marquee, the hugely popular festival. Taking place over June and July, there are a few old favourites joining the stage, as well as some exciting new performers. Here are the acts you’ll want to check out when they come to Cork…
Playing on the 4th July, this will be the first gig in Ireland for Alanis in quite some time. The seven time Grammy award winner wrote some of the most popular albums in the 90s, and this gig will be sure to please all of her longtime fans.
Another throwback of the 90s, Jack Johnson will be bringing his laidback Hawaiian grooves to the stage on 2nd July.
A perennial Irish favourite, Christy Moore is playing on 30th June.
A frequent friend of Live at the Marquee, The Coronas are playing two gigs this year, finishing the festival up on the 13th and 14th of July.
Dara O Briain
It’s not just music – Dara O Briain is performing a comedy set on 29th June. His stand up is consistently fantastic, and this is set to be a stellar performance.
2fm Live - the RTE Orchestra & Jenny Greene
This one is another longtime favourite. This live gig with the DJ Jenny Greene and the infamous RTE Orchestra has won a legion of fans, and the set is always hugely popular at the Electric Picnic. They are playing two gigs at Live at the Marquee, on 22nd and 23rd June.
If you’ve never seen the man himself perform American Pie, then you’ll get a chance on 14th June, when Don McLean plays the Marquee.
