We strive to be transparent about our sustainability journey, and have built strong communication channels across our teams, via guest feedback and with our corporate partners so that we can listen, learn and act on sustainable initiatives and best practice.
We Love Our Green Teams
The Doyle Collection has well established Green Teams at every one of our luxury hotels, which are a cross section of colleagues from every department and at every level, from engineering and housekeeping to kitchen porters and deputy general managers.
Each Green Team member is passionate about sustainability and full of ways we can practically reduce our carbon impact, plastic waste and other metrics to make our hotels as green as possible. Many of the ideas we have rolled out over the last few years have come from our Green Team members.
Our Green Teams are also influential changemakers within our own business, helping to spearhead and encourage behaviour change, both behind the scenes and via guest touchpoints across their experiences when staying with us.
Each month the Green Teams meet to share best practice, new ideas, track the impact of the changes we make and inspire others in their respective teams to do the same. We also have regular meetings at group level of all the Green Teams to encourage and inspire our sister hotels in their sustainability journeys. Our goal is that all Doyle Collection hotels achieve Gold status from Green Tourism.
