We use Sustainable Coffee Pods in guestrooms Across Our Collection

As part of our wider move to be a sustainable luxury hotel group, we now work with Cru Kafe to supply our in-room coffee pods across all of our hotels.

Cru Kafe create plastic free coffee pods. Their recyclable, aluminium capsules guarantee absolute coffee freshness but the pods can be endlessly recycled, unlike single use plastic or even bioplastic capsules.

We are delighted to be able to work with Cru Kafe for several other reasons that all demonstrate their ingrained commitment to sustainability in coffee.

Cru coffee farmers

Cru Kafe is Soil Association certified organic and Fairtrade certified coffee.

They are proud to run one of the most carbon efficient coffee roasters in the world.

Cru Kafe work with Bio Bean who turn waste coffee into coffee logs for renewable energy.

They partner with a range of charities including Project Water Fall and the Galapagos Conservation Trust.

Cru Kafe work with sustainable farmers and growers in seven countries all over the world, sourcing the best quality coffee beans and ensuring that their partners are paid fairly.

So while you sip, you can be rest-assured that your coffee is Fairtrade and ethically sourced and produced.
