Single Use Plastics

We are committed to moving beyond single use plastic in our bedrooms and suites at the Doyle Collection by the end of 2021.

We have already removed all single use plastic water bottles from all of our properties and are now looking at other key areas.

The Marylebone

suite 2 400x600

In previous years, we have used 2 million single use plastic toiletries, but are committed to reducing that, through a number of initiatives and swaps to a more sustainable approach, without sacrificing the style, comfort and luxury that guests love about our hotels.

We are committed to moving to reusable skincare and haircare toiletries, working with luxury brand Malin + Goetz, who create vegan friendly, cruelty free, all natural products, in all of our British hotels.

By the end of 2021, all of our other single use essentials from shower caps to toothbrushes will also be single use plastic free. We are currently investigating plastic free alternatives that will be rolled out across our collection.

The Kensington

Our fabulous mini bars will also be moving to single use plastic free, across our collection, as we look to work with ethical and sustainable drinks brands that are best in class in each country.

And of course, we can’t forget the essential coffee machines in your room or suite. We are keen to make these more sustainable and plastic free, so we will be moving to recyclable aluminum coffee pods.

We are proud to partner with Fairtrade and organic coffee brand, CRU Kafe, who support independent coffee farmers and pay them a fair price for their exceptional coffee.
