US State Data Privacy Policy

If you are a U.S. resident, we process your personal data in accordance with applicable U.S. state data privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Colorado Privacy Act (“CPA”), The Connecticut Data Privacy Act (“CTDPA”), Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (“VCDPA”) and Utah Consumer Privacy Act. This section of our privacy statement contains information required by the CCPA and other U.S. state data privacy laws and is a supplement to The Doyle Collection’s Privacy Notice.
Please note, our US State Data Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly when other state laws come into effect.
1. Sale of your personal data
We do not sell your personal data. So, we do not offer an opt-out to the sale of personal data.
2. Collection and use of your personal data
We collect personal data from you which you volunteer when you provide such personal data to us, or via our services with which you interact. We also may be given other personal data relating to you by other persons. Depending on how you interact with us or what type of service you are using we will process your personal data for the purposes and legal basis outlined here.
3. Processing of sensitive data
We do not collect data which is particularly sensitive unless it is volunteered by you. We use certain sensitive or special category data to better serve and meet your needs. This special category or sensitive data may be processed in the event of an accident, a medical or other emergency or your use of our other facilities during your stay.
4. Sharing your personal data
We will only pass your personal data to our business partners, to fulfil your requirements, improve our services or where we are required to do so by law. The Doyle Collection use third parties to better meet your needs and provide an efficient and effective service in our hotels and online. 5. Your rights
You have rights, in certain circumstances and subject to certain restrictions, in relation to your personal data. Please see here for more information and how to exercise those rights.
If your request to exercise a right is denied, you may appeal that decision by contacting our Data Protection Team at data_protection@doylecollection.com.
If your appeal is unsuccessful, you can raise a concern or lodge a complaint with the Washington State Attorney General at www.atg.wa.gov/file-complaint, the Nevada State Attorney General at CSU Complaints & FAQ, or other regulatory authority as applicable.
6. De-Identified data.
In some situations, we process de-identified data. Data is in this state is when we are not able to link data to an individual to whom such data may relate without taking additional steps. In those instances, and unless allowed under applicable law, we will maintain such information in a de-identified state and will not try to re-identify the individual to whom the de-identified data relates.
7. Disclosure of privacy rights requests
The CCPA requires businesses to disclose the number of requests received, complied with in whole or in part, or denied.
We currently have not received any requests from Californian residents.
