Starting your Journey
First things first – a caffeine fix is a must. Take a 15-minute walk to Kaffeineto kick start your day, followed by a short stroll across to Lantana Caféin Charlotte Place for one of the best brunches in London. Then to The British Museum to explore the Egyptian Gallery, where you can wander for hours and find quiet corners in which to lose yourself. Even Londoners feel the curiosity of a tourist again here.
Head to La Fromagerieon nearby Lamb’s Conduit Street for a light lunch, before a spot of retail therapy on this beautiful street, via its characterful boutiques – check out Universal Works, Folk and Persephone books. From there, pop over to Liberty of London, one of London’s most renowned department stores, and the answer to any further shopping needs.
Head back to the hotel to freshen up before dinner on Dalloway Terrace, whose seasonal installations have led it to become one of the most Instagrammed restaurants in London. Then, to The Curzon Renoir, one of London’s most beautiful small cinemas where you can catch an independent film. On your return to the hotel, stroll downstairs to the intimate Bloomsbury Club Bar for a night cap.
