A Great Place to Work
For the third year running, The Doyle Collection has been deemed a ‘Great Place to Work’ by the world’s largest people excellence programme. We were recognised after an external assessment and employee survey, as well as an audit of the company’s Culture and People practices.
Graduate Management Programme
Relaunched in 2018, our Graduate Management Programme is a two-year scheme designed to develop the Doyle Collection “Managers of Tomorrow”. This programme presents candidates with the opportunity to gain experience in all areas of the business over an eighteen-month period before progressing to a supervisory role for the last six months of the scheme.
Building our Doyle Community is so important to us. Via our internal website and Facebook page, our employees can keep in touch with team activity across the group, i.e. sporting days out, bake-offs, summer parties, individual awards, funny videos and how our employee family is engaged with and helping local communities and charities.

When we ask our teams regarding the most important element in their day-to-day work, ‘Wellbeing’ has consistently emerged top of the list. Our month-long Wellbeing Festival comprises such activities as ‘Yoga in the Park’, ‘Smoothie Mornings’, ‘healthy cooking masterclasses’ and even ‘doggie de-stress days’!
To celebrate the exciting international make-up of our teams, we established August 11th as our annual ‘Belonging Day’. On this day, each hotel hosts a series of events to foster generous spirit and to celebrate diversity.
A Sweet Tooth
We encourage our teams to celebrate special occasions with cake. That is, cake created by our highly-skilled pastry chefs or simply team homemade creations. We’ve even held cake sales and competitions (hosted by a former Great British Bake-Off winner, no less!) to hone that competitive edge and to raise money for charity.
