What time is check in/check out
Check-in is available from 3PM. Check-out is by 12PM.
Does the hotel provide early check-in?
Early check in is available for our DISCOVERY Black and Red Tier members. See doylecollection.com/loyalty for more information. Guest’s wishing to enquire for an early check-in should request this on reservation.
Does the hotel provide late check-out?
Late check-out is available, subject to availability. Please note, a €15 charge per hour applies after 12 noon.
What is the hotel's credit card policy?
Credit Card pre-authorization is required on check-in
Can I arrange for amenities or gifts to be placed in the room?? What do you offer?
The Guest Relations Team would be more than willing to arrange or offer amenities for your stay. Please notify the hotel in advance of your arrival.
What type of room Should I book for three adults?
We suggest a Classic Room with 3 Single Beds.
Do you have family rooms?
Yes, we have family rooms consisting of 2 queen beds, suitable for 2 adults and 2 children.
Do you have cribs for children?
Yes, cribs are available on request. Please advise the hotel in advance of your arrival of the need for a crib.
Are pets permitted?
Pets are not permitted with the exception of service animals
Do you have wheelchair accessible rooms?
Yes we have 4 fully accessible and 1 partially accessible rooms. Please contact the hotel in advance should you require one of these rooms.
Does the hotel provide international adaptors?
Yes, these are available from Reception, subject to availability.
What are the restaurant opening hours and booking policies?

Is a reservation for dinner required?
Yes, reservations are strongly suggested for dinner.
What is the hotel's policy on bookings in the bar?
We do not take bookings for the Bar & Terrace, we operate on a walk-in basis.
Does the hotel have a car park and is it included in the rate?
Guests of The River Lee can avail of secure, on-site car parking at a preferential daily rate. Please note, these spaces are allocated on a first come, first served basis so may not always be guaranteed. Q-Park, St. Finbarr’s located or Sharman Crawford Street is the nearest car park to The River Lee, with 344 spaces. Rates start at €3 per hour.
What methods of public transport can I take to the hotel?
The train station is located 3 kilometers away.
Alternatively, there are bus stops located in close proximity to the hotel.
Are tickets for city tours available at the front desk?
No but we do provide brochures and the open top bus timetable
What is the distance to the city centre?
The River Lee is approximately 1km from the City Centre, a 5-10 minute walk.
How far is the hotel from the airport in a taxi?
7km – 15 minutes drive from Cork Airport
Do you sell gift vouchers/gift cards?
Yes, e-vouchers can be purchased online or physical gift cards can be purchased directly from the hotel, in person or by phone. Details can be found here
