The Bloomsbury’s location makes it easily and rapidly accessibly by public transport, especially from major airports and train stations in London.
If you travel by car from the airport, you can reach Bloomsbury within an hour. Take the M4 to do this.
The London Underground line Piccadilly will take you from the airport through to Russell Square in around an hour.
You can take the Gatwick Express train from Gatwick Airport and switch to the London Underground at Victoria London Underground Station, and then head for Euston Underground Station. The journey is approximately 40 minutes in total.
Alternatively, you can get off the Gatwick Express at Victoria Bus Station and catch line 38 to Tottenham Court Road. This route is slightly longer at just under an hour.
Travelling via the M11, a car journey from Stansted Airport to Bloomsbury will last about 1 hour and is the cheaper option. Catching a train from the airport with a transfer at Tottenham Hale Underground to Euston Road Underground will cut the journey time to 45 minutes.
When travelling by train from Luton Airport to Bloomsbury, it would be necessary to get off in London St Pancras, where you can then step on the Piccadilly line on the Underground and get off in Russell Square. The walk from St Pancras is 20 minutes long, so you may prefer to hail a taxi from here to the hotel. Driving from the airport is a little cheaper and the journey would last roughly 50 minutes.
Victoria Train Station
From Victoria Train Station you can make the most of the London Underground System with a quick 5 minute journey to Euston Underground. It’s also inexpensive.
London St Pancras
From London St Pancras, simply step onto the Piccadilly line on the London Underground and you’ll arrive in Bloomsbury shortly after.
