Does the hotel provide early check-in?
Early check in is available for our DISCOVERY Red and Black members. See doylecollection.com/loyalty for more information. For other guests we will endeavour to offer rooms earlier however, this is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed in advance.
Does the hotel provide late check-out?
Late check out is available on request to 1pm; however it is subject to availability. After this time then late check out can be arranged until 6pm at the cost of £10 per hour.
Do you have family rooms?
We have nine rooms suitable for families located throughout the hotel. Please be aware these are very popular so we suggesting booking well in advance
Do you have cribs for children?
Yes, cribs are available on request. Please advise the hotel in advance of your arrival. These are chargeable at £10 per crib.
What type of room should I book for three adults?
We would suggest a family room or an accessible room are best suited to three adults. This will include a double bed and single bed, or two double beds depending on room allocation.
Can I arrange for amenities or gifts to be placed in the room? What do you offer?
The Guest Relations Team would be more than willing to arrange or offer amenities for your stay. Please advise the hotel in advance of your arrival.

Do you have wheelchair accessible rooms?
We have six rooms, which are wheelchair accessible. Please book these in advance due to availability.
Are pets permitted?
We welcome well-mannered, disease-free dogs and cats weighing up to 35 pounds (15 kilos). You will need to make your booking direct with the hotel and will need to sign the Pet Agreement form. There will be an additional charge of £20 00 per pet per night.
Does the hotel provide international adaptors?
The majority of rooms have US and European adapters built in. Should further adaptors be needed, please check at our reception and we will do our best to assist subject to availability.
What are the restaurant opening hours and booking policies?
06.30am – 10.00am (weekdays) / 07.30am – 11.00am (weekends)
12.30 – 2.30
5.30pm – 9.30pm Sunday to Thursday
5.30pm – 10pm Friday and Saturday

Is a reservation for dinner required?
It is always advisable to book a table in The River Grille to ensure your requested time, particularly on Friday and Saturday nights. We suggest you book at the time of making your bedroom reservation. We do our best to cater for all walk-ins subject to availability; however, there may be a wait subject to lack of availability at your chosen time
What is the hotel's policy on bookings in the bar?
We do not take bookings for The River Lounge Bar or Shore Café Bar; we operate on a first come first served basis.
Does the hotel have a car park and is it included in the rate?
There is an NCP located next door. The hotel can assist with a reduced rate during your stay at a cost of £12.00 per exit ticket issued during your stay. Please retain your entrance ticket, as this is needed to exit. The hotel holds no liability for loss of this ticket and you will incur a £26.50 charge (a full 24hr charge) from the NCP itself.
What methods of public transport can I take to the hotel?
There are lots of different ways to reach the hotel due to our fantastic city centre location:
- Bristol Bus/Coach Station– 15 minute walk from the hotel. There is no direct bus from there so a taxi or walking is the best option.
- Bristol Temple Meads Train Station– 15 minute walk from the hotel. Bus number 73 picks up from the train station and stops on Prince street, outside the hotel. A taxi from the station is around a 5 minute journey and a £5 fare
- Bristol Airport – The Bristol Flyer bus brings you into the city and drops you off at either at Temple Meads Station, Bristol Bus and Coach Station or in the city centre of Bristol, which is approximately a 5-10 minutes’ walk.
What is the distance to the city centre?
We are located in the heart of the city centre, Cabot Circus shopping area is located 10 minutes away.
How far is the hotel from the airport in a taxi?
Taxis are available outside the arrivals terminal at Bristol Airport. The journey is approximately 30 minutes.
What is your credit card policy?
We accept all major credit cards.
What is your pre-authorisation policy
Pre-authorisation is taken for each reservation and is held on the card until check out. The amount pre authorized is for the accommodation and £40 per night for extras. To avoid pre-authorisation the total amount of your stay can be prepaid in advance or at check-in and you can pay for incidentals as you go along.
Do you sell gift vouchers/gift cards?
Yes, e-vouchers can be purchased online or physical gift cards can be purchased directly from the hotel, in person or by phone. Details can be found here
